Well, the software issue is resolved. However, the other problem was that whenever I put the mx-950 on the charger none of the lights lit. I must have tried five different outlets (all in use). I purchased a new ac adapter and base with no luck. After numerous calls to URC tech support, I was advised to send the remote and all pieces in for service and testing. I called URC today. The remote is being shipped back because it was found to have no problems. Anyone else besides me confused?
Thanks again for your help!

And the charger? How many volts did you measure at the power supply output? Do I need to ask "why not?"?
