I took apart my MX-850 to clean contacts. There was a thin flexible plate sitting between the rubber keypads and the circuit board, and it is not keyed (so you can put it on backwards). It is pink on one side and silver/metallic color on the other side. There is a difference in the contacts on the bottom ENTER and +10 keys; one of them is insulated and does not pass through. I cannot for the life of me remember which way this thing goes in.
Does anyone know?
