I currently have an MX-3000/RFX-250/MRF-350 setup, but the cursor keys are getting progressively sticky and less responsive.
I have the opportunity to get an MX-3000i and RFX-250i, but will that receiver work with my existing MRF-350 base station?
I am aware that the frequency of the i-range is different, but if this is handled by the receiver then hopefully that would not be a problem. The replacement kit was previously in a setup with an MSC-400, which had both RFX-250 and 250i receivers.

Thank you.

Steve

Yes, it will work. The RFX-250i is the key, as that is what will accept the 433 MHz frequency from the remote.

Thank you goldenzrule.
I was sure that was the case until I read this on URC's product page, so I appreciate having it confirmed by you.
"Note that the MRF-350 and MRF-350i differ only in transmission frequency (MRF-350i is 433MHz, MRF-350 is 418MHz); however, i-series controllers must be matched with i-series base stations."

Yeah, your assumptions were correct. The only difference between the MRF350 and MRF350i is the latter ships with an 433 MHz (i series) antenna. The literature doesn't state that, it only says that the i series remotes will only communicate with an i series base station
