TRC1280 over wifi - yes
TRC780 over zig bee - no
There is no 418/433mhz RF used in Total Control aside from the native lighting.

Neither has paging.

There is an SDK. Total Control's modules are written in TCL.

You want something from Crestron. Go bother that forum.

What's up with the attitude you guys have toward end users?  Who's bothering who anyways?  You and Presinium chose to respond to my post, I sure didn't ask for your opinion, but merely posted my experience with products similar to that of the OPs.

No one's bothering you at all.  It's a free country, if you can't answer nicely or feel bothered, I assure you everyone on here would be happier if you didn't answer at all.  Since you did, thanks for your time I guess, but I still don't appreciate your attitude and your response was pretty lacking in information.

You still didn't answer my question on how a dealer would go about obtaining the SDK and its documentation, but I can see if the local guy can call his rep on Monday.  He's a heck of a nice guy and genuinely willing to help.

FWIW, dealers on here should be mad at URC for allowing sellers on Amazon and ebay to under cut you, not at end users who LEGALLY purchase products from vendors that also LEGALLY give them software.  URC has trackable serial numbers and they could crack down on things, but chooses not too.  Not my fault.  Be mad at your business partner, not at us end users.

I can see the backlash if I went and listed what I paid for all of my URC products, but I didn't out of respect.  If you don't want to hear from us end users, stay in the custom installers forum.  We'd all be happier that way!

I'd be mad if URC was taking bread off my table too, but really, you are choosing to sell their products.  Try buying Control4 or some other product on Amazon and obtaining the full dealer software.  That's impossible and Control4's newest software has a logon screen to protect dealers!

I'm not sure if the OP feels the same way or not, but I'd rather hear from end users instead of experts, especially if these experts are going to be rude in their responses.

If I couldn't treat other humans as humans, I'd seriously reconsider being in a customer oriented business...  just saying.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
