For basic ipad control, an MRX-1 and a Ipad App married will do it?

I am just researching other companies ipad control solutions, so forgive my ignorance.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

yes, i've been testing it at home.  So far I'm really liking it.

i'm controlling my directv and media pc via IP, my TV via RS232, and A/V receiver via IR.  the commands are very responsive.  it sure beats using an MX5000/6000 with an MRX1.

I only wish that it could work with an MSC400, or they would come out with a network version of the MSC400.
