The app is available from the iTunes store and dealers can purchase the keys from URC for your customers.

Is that the name of the setup code that's needed then - SETUP-iOS-CCP

Not the same as the Total Control code ?

thanks

Correct, 2 different part #'s:

SETUP-iOS-CCP for Complete Control

SETUP-iOS-TCP for Total Control

It could be good on an iPad mini... But there are of course less expensive apps that are a lot more customisable and have two way capability for iPad / iPhone

According to URC's website the app gives the user one way control.

One way for CCP MX-iOS only.

Two way for Total Control iOS.

Exact. URC app seems to be very expensive for what is does.
AppStore is already literally flooded with cheaper home automation apps and
some of them have respectable database of supported equipment.
Moreover, it seems to require internet connection from MRX-1 for normal operation and does not support MSC-400/MRF-350 control, which defeats its purpose (that's because MRX-1 RF output was designed for lighting only).
That said, if you want to "control" something from Ipad it is currently better to use some other app via Global Cache or iTach controller and you will get even 2-way.
The situation may change though if URC makes updated MRX-1 which allows to control other "legacy" base stations. I think URC simply MUST do it - this will also have additional advantage of being able to control all CCP equipment from new Total Control line and have the best of 2 worlds!
