Hi, i am a newbie to this forum but not a newbie to URC. i currently have 3 MX-500's that i would like to replace. i bought the 450 to test it out and to verifiy if i want to replace all my remotes with this one. at first glance this thing is great. i setup my satellite and blu ray with no issues. the problems start with the tv. when i get to the tv test section of the process, the volume works just fine but after i accept it, the unit saves the code and i exit, the volume no longer works when i go to TV. i even tried to learn the command but that didnt work either. any ideas on what i can do?

forgot to mention. everytime i plug the usb into my computer and launch the archiver program i get an error code that says:

Sending Failed: ESD_REST code 208

not sure what that means. i did do an software update and i didnt get this code until after i did that. i went back to the unit default and i still get that error.

Sounds like the volume commands maybe copy and pasted from another device, which would override the tv volume commands while in use. Try this, enter setup and choose advanced, then choose copy and paste, after that choose volume, and then choose to one device or to all devices ( this is up to you) and then copy from tv and paste to tv. Hopefully this will work out for you
