Has anyone been able to create (and display when needed) a Wait Screen on the URC MX-450?
I created a page of buttons with labels displaying
Please Wait
While Macros
Are Sent
Then as part of another macro, I used the Goto-Page feature to try and make that particular page show up at the beginning of the macro. So that as the macro is running, they get visual confirmation that the button press was recognized and the screen tells them to "be patient", etc. But despite my attempts, the page isn't displaying (at all) during the macro execution.
ps: don't respond to this thread if you're going to say - you should use a better remote - you're trying to do things that aren't meant to be done using that remote - why aren't you using Complete Control by URC and a better model remote - give up and upgrade - you shouldn't have a macro that runs more than a second or two *
I'm well aware of other models and software based programming too.
Thanks !
*the macro I've programmed is for users of Panasonic Viera Plasma to have a single button to "Goto WWW" via the plasma's Internet Browser. Due to the time it takes to power up the plasma, the delay seconds are quite significant, while the plasma executes the Internet Apps mode, then goes UP 1 and SEL to pick the Browser and launch it. I don't want my users to have to deal with the Internet Apps menu...just to take them right to the browser where they've already saved internet favorite websites, etc.

I'm not certain if that model has that capability. What does your macro look like?
On PC programmable models you do something like:
Jump to Wait Screen Delay (how long you want wait screen visible) Alias device command Delay .3 Alias device command Delay .3 Alias device command Delay .3 Alias device command Jump to device page
