I know this topic has been pretty thoroughly covered, but I was doing a search tonight and found an URC Tech Bulletin #20 that said if you installed:

WINDOWS MOBILE DEVICE CENTER

that you could program the MX-950 under Win 7.

There are a lot of hoops to jump through to do it. Wondering if anyone has seen and/or tried this and if so, was it successful.

Here are links to both the URC Tech Bulletin & the Windows Device Center download page

you have to have mobile device center for the 980 as well. Pretty simple install and everyone selling URC has done this.

you can program in windows 7; however you need an old XP computer to upload the file to the remote (first hand experience); keep my old laptop around for just this reason; and uploading to MX700/800/850's also works best on XP.
