The MX850 editor IR Database does not seem to include the RNG100 so I attempted to get it to learn the RNG100 codes from the Comcast remote. It learns all of the RNG100 codes except for the 2 and 5. It also learns the codes for the other devices I am controlling OK.

If I can't get the 2 and 5 to work the MX-850 is essentially useless to me. Everything was just fine until Comcast forced an upgrade to the RNG100 and I would surely appreciate it if someone were able to point me to an MXF file for the RNG100 and absent that to any ideas on how to force the MX-850 into learning the 2 and 5...I have tried everything I could think of and find in the various forum posts to no avail.

Thanks for any feedback.

Are you telling us that the RNG200 codes that are in the IR DB do not work? I find that hard to believe. Comcast code set 113.

Thanks...I don't have the knowledge to use this file to solve my problem...I'm just a homeowner who didn't know any better when I purchased the MX-850 from HiDefseveral years ago. I was able to get it to do everything I needed up until now where I have run into the current problem. I was hoping I could locate a .mxf config file that I could directly download to the MX-850 using the editor I received with the remote.

Thanks...When I pull up the IR Database from the editor there are no Cisco devices listed. Hoping against hope I tried all of the devices listed under Comcast but naturally none of those worked...

Update your editor. Under Cable : Comcast there is a RNG200, I'm looking at it right now.
