Never mind, I think I got it to work now. I just had to restart CCP...

Does anyone know if we will we be able to use MX-980 graphics on them? The screen appears to be the same size. I like the joined buttons on the 980, even though I don't care much for the remote. I've actually been using them, scaled down to fit, on MX-880s for some time now.

You manually scaled them all, one by one?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

With Photoshop and other photo software you can do batch scaling of picture files.

Just depends if you were on the naughty or nice list....

I've never been on the nice list. ;-)

From what I've seen, they just got a handful of them in that went out to long standing pre-orders. The West coast rep says it won't be until the end of the month before they're shipping everywhere.

to those who don't have one yet, be thankful. there is still some work on the ccp side that needs to be tweaked. doing work-arounds on a remote just to make it look nice is unacceptable. but i'm sure urc will fix it at some point, it's just unfortunate that we have one going out tomorrow.

Personally i like the size of it, and i have big hands. i'm still not a fan of the touch screen but that a personal preference. the one negative i have noticed it the base. the 980 always sat in the base correctly. This one has an angle to it, and it is possible to set in the the base incorrectly without charging it. (like i did last night on my desk) :P

I scaled them for the MX-880. No need to scale them for the MX-1200, as the screens are the same size.

Can anyone tell me which three hard buttons are interchangeable on the MX-1200?

Are they going to start shipping them with the buttons removed and have a carton with extras? The 5 that i have seen have the buttons already in place, with no extras. I understand with effort i can remove them, however removing them without damaging them is a different story.

So will there be Watch and Listen buttons like on the MX980, or just those three with the ability to move them arround?

I had thought the MX1200 was a 240x320 remote, just like the MX980 ... in fact, I just verified that in CCP. Why did you have to scale down the MX980 graphics, then?

I think you misunderstood what I said. Read my post, #21, above.

Does anyone have any tipis for working with the image gallery in ccp? I was going through the process of swapping out some buttons - which originated with the theme selection - yesterday, and omg what a pita! For each button u need to reselect the graphic type as button, select the theme and one other param b4 the button graphics appear. there MUST be an easier way to work with image gallery that im missing?!?
