As posted above, the used 300 I recently purchased and installed, only came with 3 emitters. (I missed the fine detail in the ad which stated this). I got the 250 working so emitters to suit either would suit as I can solder on the appropriate plug.

Anyone have any spares I could buy or suggest where I could get them? I Googled and there are emitters FS but it is unclear if they would work with either the 300 or 250 base station. There are also extenders offered (3 emitter heads on the one cable) but again, I'm unsure if they would work with either base station.

Any info and/or help appreciated.

John (resident in Australia)

POSTSCRIPT: I emailed Jim at [Link: shop.remoteshoppe.com] and had such a good response I am inspired to post about it. Jim was prepared to take an order but wisely suggested I look for an Australian agent because of high freight costs. But he went even further and gave me a link to someone here. Most impressive.
So I suggest those of you living in the USA give his excellent service a go.

I've used all kinds of different emitters with URC base stations. As long as they're 3.5mm mono plug.

Thanks. The plug size is no problem as I can solder the appropriate plug. So looks like I should be able to source them in Australia as the type of emitter is nothing special for the URC.

You can usually pick up a 5-6 pack of Speakercraft IRE-X.X on Ebay for around $40.

Or you can get the el-cheapo smarthome units for about $5 each.

I keep pointing my remote at the turntable but, it never advances to the next track.

Thanks fixinick.

LOL - do you think I should paste an IR detector on MY turntable? Maybe you should try it - might work.
