Probably to early to ask; but I'll start a thread anyway!

I see the latest CCP update has included a Lutron 2-way module.
It also includes a 2-way PDF manual for set-up.
Has anyone experimented with it yet or is planning an install with lighting and shades?
I would like to get some feed back from installers on it's functionality before I make the investment!
Any help would be appreciated!

I have played around with it using my demo rooms and it worked perfectly well. I am in the process of putting my shades in now, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work well. In fact, I am surprised it took this long considering the RA2 protocol is very well supportred. Since becoming a Ra2 dealer I have got it running on various control systems.

I would reccomend URC for this type of lighting control without a doubt. I am using an MX-5000.

Thanks for the reply Vincent.
I'm contemplating using Lutron RA2 on a small condo project and hadn't decided on what control system to purchase.
I've heard good things about it's integration with Crestron and RTI.
However; as you mentioned URC has been late to the game; it's good to hear it has promise though!

Thanks again,
Karl

I don't think there is a better all around lighting system that shows promise and affordability as well as features than the RA2. I wouldnt base installing RA2 solely on URC; the iphone app is pretty amazing and the software is simple to program.

URC was always able to control it - but it was one way. No with 2-way control it's a fantastic system.

Questions regarding the 2-way help file.

I haven't yet taken the Lutron RA2 programming course. I hope to take the BLAST course some time this year.
So please don't jump all over the stupid questions!

-Is the PC configuration tool described in the help file, part of the Lutron RA2 software?
-I assume the excel Integration report is also part of the Lutron software?
-After configuring your system in the XLM file; I assume you just need to cut and paste the file into CCP module parameter window?

Seems pretty straight forward.
Has anyone found any issues yet?

Thanks,
KRAZYK
