hello I am stumped on this and believe I have a defective something.

Back ground
have all ir in the MX3000 works fine line of site
Ir in MSC works fine by testing through the software (validates emmitters and strength)

Here is the issue the rfx in idle state has single led lit. RF led blinks when remote activated. No staus led activity on msc. have RFX connected with cat 5 and have checked continuity ok. Have tried different RFID settings.

so it seems the RFX is rcving the command but it isn't getting to the MSC

Any ideas? have no spares to try

thanks Jeff

I did get this to.work somewhat. I think it is the battery. Even though i could see the leds flicker when sending a command there was no status of on the msc. I was mucking around and fired a command while the remote was real.close to the rfx and bam it worked. Range of ten inches. I have another battery charging and will try later i hope this is the case. The remote in all other aspects is working and would never guessed but i would suspect the radio needs some extra umphh.

Thought I would share my ultimate findings. The center connector on the antenna on the rfx was broken! I took apart and soldered a wire onto the pcb and she works like a champ! I will probably replace this guy at some point but right now it is working. The curve ball was it was still picking up the commands/rf from the mx3000 on button pushes making it seem as though it was receiving. But in reality it was just interference garbly gook Man what a waste of time!
