As I recall, you get a busy screen on the second device if the first is communicating.

I decided not to do the tuner interface in a home that has 4 KP4000s because of that.

I just put the Onkyo TX NR1008 and it keeps locking up on just one KP4000. It locks up when I press the V Radio (Internet Radio)

I am just about to put URC behind me because of the lack of support and CCP is just not working well for me.

If any programmers live near Alamo, CA (Walnut Creek Area) and would like to help, I could pay for some support but please dont ask for hundreds of dollars because I will just return all of the URC parts before that happens.

Cheers

Ed

You've done a firmware update on the Onkyo? Your CCP is updated?

What do you mean, locking up... "Can't connect" or you have to unplug the Onkyo? Or do you mean the keypad locks up and has to be reset?

I'm not far from you but more info would help.

CCP is only partly intuitive when setting these up. Read the help files with CCP and you should have a checklist you can run through. It's usually something simple.

That works for me!

Thanks for the reply, Tom!

Just an update for everyone who has been so helpful.

The Onkyo TX-NR1008 was installed with three KP4000 and one MRX-1. It takes a while for the keypads or MRX to communicate with the V-tuner but does work.

When I said "locked up" I meant that the KP would stay in the "connecting" mode and then would not respond so I had to do a hard reset. It was conflicting with the Denon if I did not back out of a function on one KP before making a selection on another. I could have just added a macro but that would just be confusing.

I will update everyone a little later about the entire system.

Thank you once again

Cheers

Just a quick reply and if anyone is out there who could respond quickly.

I have three KP4000
One Main
One Kitchen
One Foyer

When I select a source from the Main to Comcast, IPOD or V Tuner there is no problem

When I am at the Kitchen or Foyer and select IPOD, no problem BUT when I select V Tuner, it selects the V Tuner on the MAIN.

I have checked for the codes and the Main is IR 1284, Zone 2 1292 and Zone 3 1294 so they should not communicate, correct?
