Using Complete Control, currrent version, all updates.

I am cutting a MX-980 only setup to add the MSC-400.  As I understand it, ports 7-12 can be IR or RS232.

With the MX-980 selected in the System Designer window, I choose Program, RF Control.  In that window I select the ports that the respective devices will use on the MSC-400.  But in the dropdown, only ports 1-6 are listed, plus "Blaster1".  Posts 1-6 reflect the names I gave them when configuring the MSC-400, so I have the right MSC-400.

I tried going to the MSC-400 setup and disabling RS232 on port 7 as a test, but that did not make it show in the list.

I also tried to setup new RS232 devices on ports 7-12, that went fine, but I still don't see them to associate with the Remote.

How do I assign ports 7-12 to devices?  Is that choice in that menu obsolete?

Thanks,
Scott

I figured it out.  In direct conflict with what their MSC-400 Programming Manual said, I had to select a RF port above 11, then the other ports showed up.  (also set the secondary port).

The RS232 thing was too involved for this thread.  Started a new one.  But thanks.  I do forget more than I remember these days :)
