I bought a KP 900 remote and am using it for my whole house audio system. I am very new to this so for now all I have my remote doing is turning on/off my sony receiver and a couple other minor options. The main thing I use my whole house audio system is for listening to the radio. So can I program my remote to go through my radio presets (different radio stations)? I cannot figure out how to do this. I do have separate preset buttons on my Sony receiver.

Thanks!

In the IR database for your receiver there should be either preset commands or number buttons. Most receivers, when in tuner mode, the number buttons become direct access preset buttons (most!). Look for a command in the database that says preset+ or preset- and assign it to a button on the KP900

Thank you for the help. I found the preset +/- and the numbers in the database. I have figured out how to assign the preset + and preset - button to the -skip and +skip buttons respectively. But how can I assign the preset number buttons (1-8) to the lcd page display? I would like these to show up on a page so I can assign them an actual radio station id (example: 90.1) so I know exactly what station I am picking now.

After playing around with the software more I have figured this out. Thank you for your help on my first question!!!

Go to the LCD editor and type in your freqs. Save. Then make a macro that has that preset no as its only command. If you don't have the preset numbers in the database or the remote already, put them also in via the LCD editor. Use the last pages (like pg 7,8,9 etc) and check the "hide" box since you don't need to see them. Save. Go into the learning mode and learn them in one by one.
