I have 2 MRF-350 base stations and 2 RFX-250 extenders. I have all my components in one room in the basement. I utilize all 12 IR inputs for my components.Should i connect both MRF-350 units together?
I use an MX-850 remote upstairs and one in the basement Home Theater. I ran one of the RFX-250 to the upstairs room and the other is in the equipment room downstairs.
At times i get no response after pressing a command the first time. I just want to make sure i am setting up this system correctly.

Thanks for any help

Just set them to different RF IDs. :) IIRC, there are some guidelines for using multiples on different IDs. I usually use 2 channels that are 3-5 apart from each other.

Should i tie them together so both 250s will work for both MRF-350?

You can certainly connect the 2 base stations together and use 1 RFX250 for both if you want (or use both if the house size warrants it). I would try just one for now and see if you get the results you need. The issue you may be having is that the 2 RFX250's you are currently using are too close to each other.

Look at p.5 below.

For what it is worth... It certainly doesn't hurt to leave a few IDs between MRFs but it is really unnecessary as this isn't an RF channel, but rather an ID in the data stream.
