Latest update to CCP and my first taste of weirdness.
I run CCP in a Windows 7 Enterprise, 64-bit, virtual machine. Using VirtualBox on a linux host. I haven't had any problems whatsoever so I've kinda kept out of the discussions about issues with CCP for fear of jinxing myself.
Yesterday I was messing around with making some changes to my MX-980 configuration to add some power state tracking variables. I went to drag a button down one position. Click...drag... *BOOM!*
gone. CCP quit and I was staring at my desktop going, "huh?"
So I started it back up again. Started no problem. But I noticed the configuration file it auto-loaded was from about 3 itterations ago. Thinking "ruh-roh", I did the File -> Open, selected the file I was working on when it crashed, and it opened without complaint. Continued editing (and saving frequently) and..... no problem.
So I'm hoping it was a fluke, but I need to know which files I'd have to save off to another location if I have to reinstall or if I just have to use CCP from a native Windows 7 install. Is it enough to just save that .ccp file I was working on?

Welcome to CCP! I've learned to save after every single change whether it be a simple change of a delay from 1 to 2 seconds. It's the only reliable way with CCP.

Mine locks up when I first boot the computer and I always have to quit the unresponsive program and wait. Restart and good to go.
When I restart it goes back to a default file, so the fact that yours went backwards to an earlier file I'd say is normal with a crash.

i've only had issues with the MSC400 locking up every now and then in between loading files. CCP crashes, i unplug the msc400 power, restart ccp, plug the msc400 power back in, and everything is fine until it happens again. :)

I now open a random app and if I open CCP second, it doesn't seem to crash.
