I am installing a ADB 54810WX cable box. When I test the codes form the database, everything works.

After I download the file, the remote will not work.

Any ideas?

Set to RF or IR? Have a base station?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I have it mostly working.

Partly bad Emitter
Partly poor codes in the database I think. I had to use both W and WX codes

What RF ID# did you set in the software and on the RF Receiver?

When programming the remote first make sure that everything works properly in IR mode. Once everything works 100% with IR then you can switch to RF and work on emitter placement and RF interference.

Posibly emitter placement. I had same issue with Motorola DCH 3416. IR was too strong even when turned down all the way. I installed flasher so only small part of it overlaps IR window on Motorola, than covered flasher with hood (black tape works too)
