Hi All, a very odd issue just occurred with my ATV2 the other day, I was navigating happily with my 810 using direct IR as I haven't bothered attaching a flasher yet and then for no apparent reason it stopped responding to commands.
I still get the IR receive light flash when commands are sent but nothing happens, even weirder the supplied remote still works perfectly.
I've tried hard power off & reboots to both the ATV2 and 810 and even re-programmed the 810 just to rule that out!
Any Idea's?

Take your camera phone out, start the camera, and watch the ir sensors on the front of the remote through the camera while pressing any apple tv commands. If the ir is working you will see red or sometimes blue lights. If there is nothing than either the programming is flawed or the remote has crapped out. If lights are present i don't know what to tell you besides add an mrf or triple check your programming.

Thanks for the camera suggestion i'll try it however the ATV does recognize that it is receiving IR signals by flashing it's power light as per normal indicating that IR is being transmitted - anyway I'll try some other options too.

As I suspected it was the ATV2 and not the 810 that was at fault - after performing a factory reset on the AVT2 everything is working properly again. :)
