Hi,
I have a Pronto TSU9600 and a RFX9600 Extender at the moment, and am looking for an alternative setup as philips have pulled the plug on these.
Was just wondering if the MX-6000 comes with its own software for putting on the PC and is it drag and drop to get basic functions up and running ?
I love the flexability of the Pronto's,but am after something that i could do myself rather than getting someone else in to do it.
If you think this is not for me,would you have any other recommendations ?

the MX6000, like all of the URC professional line of remotes, does not include the software in the box. it is the dealer's option to provide the software to you. find a dealer that is willing to provide the software.
the software is called Complete Control Program (CCP) I think if you can figure out the pronto professional software, then you could figure out CCP. just be aware that URC does not provide technical support to end users for its software. any tech support would have to come from forums like these, or the dealer that gave you the software.

Why are you giving up the TSU9600? Is it really solely based on Pronto pulling the plug? If so i would keep the TSU9600 until it dies and then replace it. If you get a year or two out of it you will be replacing it with something newer/cooler than the MX6000.

Haven't really made my mind up about getting rid of it,as i love it,but was just curious to see if there was other professional remotes you can program yourself.
Don't want to go back to Logitech........
