Does anyone know if/when URC will update the MX-810 with the Denon AVR-4311 Code Set's?

A number of my 810 customers have advised they intend to upgrade to this AVR (including myself) and I've asked them to hold off till URC provide us with the updated code set - the 4311ci is nothing like the 4310 and seems to have borrowed about 70% of the 4810's code set but with new features and some different input codes.

I checked some of the other remotes (MX-900) and they have had the 4311's code base available via live update since late December.

I realize I can get the codes into the wizard out of CCP with a bit of stuffing around but it would be nice to know URC are still supporting the 810.

Use 811 as your extended code set. You will have to add an additional device but it will get you the codes you are looking for.

Btw, your suggestion didn't work and unfortunately there is no way I know of to import codes from CCP into the wizard. Looks like I might be buying an 880! :-(

um, why not just learn in the new codes you need, or create a dummy 850 with the codes ore even a spreadsheet with the hex codes and then just load them under the universal browser section???

Arrrgh, none of the MX Editor software has been updated with the new Denon xx11 Series AVR IR Codes including the 850, 900, 950 & 980!!! Only CCP has the lastest IR DB and it's file format cant be read my any of the MX-Editor series or Pro Wizard Software. :-(

I have the Denon IR Code PDF but to be honest I dont understand it, it's been written in binary and not Hex afaik.

Looks like my clients and I with 810's will be upgrading to 880's soon!

Well I sent an email to URC recently enquiring about their IRDB being updated for the 810 etc and got this response:

We appreciate you contacting Universal Remote Control, Inc and your continued patronage.

Unfortunately we have not yet added the Denon 4311CI to the IR Database for the MX-810 however it should be updated soon.  In the meantime we recommend using the codes for the 4310CI as most of the commands are the same and should be compatible. We hope this information is helpful and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
