I'm just starting to program my first MX-5000. Was wondering if someone might take pity on me and be able to share a very basic/bare bones template just to get started. Not looking for anything fancy or complicated, just something to get me started. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks much.

Do you mean CCP themes? In the 5000, there are the six themes, but I'm looking for something to get me started with initial program...maybe the question is more do people find it easier with a simple watch/listen format, or maybe a activities device format, big initial icons to smaller ones, etc...again, just looking for a little direction...thanks.

I would say that would be your personal preference.

My wife can use this!

I personally use large watch, Listen and game icons on my main page.
These each jump to activity pages.
Again large icons.
-watch cable, watch Bluray ,etc.
-listen radio, listen i-tunes etc.

These run the macros and turn everything on/off for the given activity
.......then jump to device page/pages for the given activity.

If "I" need to tweak around with settings I use the hold button feature on the "main button" to access my device pages and then -navigate back.

It works for both me and my significant other.
I've never had a call while I'm on a business trip!

Honey are you busy? "I've messed something up and I've lost the picture....Can you help me fix it ????.....I'm missing my show!!!!"
