i have set up a mx-450 with several devices that are switching through a denon AVR , however i can not program the denon volume controls to each device so i select say dvd i have say transport control but have to switch to denon device button to change volume.

i have tryed the learn option, i pick learn in setup, select the device and then select the volume + or - and it seems to learn in ok but when i use the macros for each device and it goes at the end back to device so i have transport controls etc , the volume still does not work to control the denon??

i am missing something simple here i know but as instructions are not great , i would appreciate any help.

alos cannot control winsat sat tv box, name not in menu and have tryed all brands in sat and cable???

The volume issue is most likely a punch-thru problem, or in the MX450 it's called copy and paste (in the advanced set-up section). As for the winsat, there may be an OEM that URC's supports, but you can always learn the codes into the MX450.
