I'm working on an older MX-900 on which the SEL button has stopped working consistently. I'd like to transfer the configuration to a newer MX-900 using the MX-900 Editor. I can pull the configuration file off the older remote, but the newer remote always fails to connect. I've tried on two different computers (XP and Vista) with the same results . Any ideas on what else to try? Is there a firmware incompatibility with newer MX-900s and the MX-900 editor? Thanks.

If I recall correctly, new MX-900's require a newer version of the software.

You do need CCP on the new remote and you can use the universal browser function to access the old file.
