Hi,
Ordered an MX-450 this week and wanted to get a head-start on planning the button layout. Is there a planner in the Files section that adapts to the MX-450? The ones I found don't specifically mention that remote.

The codes in the 450 are the same as the other URC remotes, however you should download the MX450 archiver software from the dealer area of URC site. This software can get a live update from URC and you can then update your remote with the latest codes. I use CCP with a dummy MX900 to plan the codes I need for the 450 then use those when programing the 450.

I think he just means something you can use to plan out your button placement in advance, like I created for the MX-500, RF20 etc. But no, I haven't seen one for the R50/MX-450.

Thanks, Daniel. I did mean one of those Excel spreadsheet you created for the MX-50-,RF-20, etc. Oh well.
BTW, I did obtain the archiver software with liveupdate for the MX-450.

Turns out I was mistaken! I did create an R50 planner. Someone just quoted me from 2009 saying I had one, and then I looked, and sure enough there it was... [Link: remotecentral.com]
