Hi,
Thanks to this group for all of the great help over the years.
Does anyone know why some WAV files downloaded from the internet work and others do not? I would like, among other things, to have the MGM Lion roaring when one clicks the MGM channel. (I know, "You might be a dork nerd if ... your remote roars at the MGM Channel" I embrace who I am!)
I got the WAV files to appear in the Sound Gallery in CCP, but I can't seem to drag some of the sounds to the Macro window. Many other WAV sounds downloaded from the internet go over fine and then work fine (at least when I turn on "Delay Macro Until Sound Finishes").
I thought that it might be that some sounds are Stereo and it only works in MONO, but that is not it.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure the problem is the dork/nerd threshold built into CCP. You're only allowed to execute so many dork/nerd commands in a single file and it sounds like you've exceeded that limit. Try spending the entire weekend on World of Warchraft and then see if you've earned enough points to buy some more dork/nerd credits from URC. May the force be with you, Make it so, yada yaday yada.

Goodness gracious. I'm not THAT bad. I don't do video games.
I still can add other sounds, I just cannot add SOME sounds. Not sure what the requirements are.

I really couldn't tell you why some WAV files will work and others don't. Probably has to do with recording size and bit rate I would think.
