Any advice would be helpful, folks. I'm about to box up this *%$# 980 and send it back for a couple of 900s. As might be evident, this is my first time programming a 980, and I am trying to import some custom backgrounds and button graphics. Having a heck of a time. First of all, I can't get the button graphics to come in at all. I don't know what I might be doing wrong, but I seem to be following the instructions just fine. Is it perhaps because I need to resize them before they'll come in? Dunno, but I'll get back to that later.

The part that I am just about to scream with is the backgrounds. I have pulled some really nice images down, and have resized them to 240x320 using Aperture, per the specs. Then, when I pull them into CCP, it automatically resizes them horizontally to 213x320. I don't get it. Am I missing something?

Have you taken any of the online courses for CCP?

Can't. Not a dealer. Bought from an authorized dealer. Been using MX-900 software for a number of years, and know my way through the process pretty well. But this is my first time using the 980.

I tune all the graphics in Phototshop, then save as PNG and drop them in a folder alongside all the other graphics in the 980 collection. Browse via the Image gallery. No problems.

The editor, like the 950 editor, has quirks.

I'll give that a shot. Thanks.

Well it turns out that it wasn't the 980 or the editor software's fault. Aperture, and MS Paint were both automatically trying to keep aspect ratio as I was saving the files. Once I fixed that all was good. Duh. Thanks for your help.
