Hello,

I have a new PSX-2 and I have a question regarding the video output.

When I first connected the device to my display, I did have video output as desired. However, since I connected with my MX-5000 to obtain 2-way data on the remote, I have lost the output to my television. I have checked that the output is still set to component on the PSX-2 device configuration and I still routinely see the information when I connect through my MX-5000. Is there something wrong with my PSX-2 or does the device only show visual data to either a remote or a TV?

Thank you.

Kind regards,
TWells

what does the ipod say on the dock?  does it show the univeral remote logo?

if not, you might have somehow toggled it from remote mode to manual mode.

the ir codes to switch back and forth are in the database under device code 604

Well, the iPod (iPod Touch 4th gen. 64GB) does not show the URC logo just a note that says something like it is attached to an accessory which is good.

I figured out that my problem was the cable. Either it went bad or wiggled a little loose. I replaced the component cable leading to the matrix switch and was back in business.

Thank you very much for the help.

Kind regards,
TWells
