If anyone who liked this feature in the standalone software, CCP now has it as well!

When you have an alias (eg, setting the receiver to the DVD input) you can double click it and it will bring up a tree of the receiver's commands (actually I believe all devices and their commands show up). From that list you can simply pick the new command.
I absolutely LOVE this feature (and wish it were available for the 880 in CCP) and was estatic when it was enabled in CCP. I use it by copying the steps of a macro (say watch TV) into another button (say watch blu-ray) then just double-clicking the aliases and choosing the new inputs for the receiver, TV, etc.

Nice. Been programming these things for years and never caught that. Thanks for the tip.

For what it's worth guys... we added this feature back in specifically in response to installer requests. Although not every feature request can make the cut, we are listening!
Best regards, Dale

Thanks Dale! Any chance of it being enabled for the 880 also?

I'll bring it up at the next meeting, sure. I can't guarantee where it'll fall in the engineering queue, though.
