I downloaded the code set for a Sylvania NB501SL9 DVD player. It works fine with IR but doesn't work at all with RF. All of the other devices work fine with RF, so it's not the blaster. The remote self-test during download shows messages of IROUT FAIL and IRAMP FAIL. Any ideas for fixing this problem?

IROUT and IRAMP always fail on the mx-850. That is nothing to worry about.
Each device is separately RF addressed. Go into the Program menu and select "RF Control" and make sure you are sending the RF to the correct emitter.
