I currently have a MX-810 and a Bose Lifestyle system. All works great except for one very irritating problem.

The volume control on the Bose must be pressed each time for every volume setting. Ex. If I want to turn the volume up, I must it VOL+ constantly (15 -20 times). It will not work if I hold down the volume button.

If anyone has any idea to what would be a good way to resolve this issue, please let me know.

I am using a MX-810 with a MRF-350 and RFX-250 and attempting to be able to hold down the volume + and - button and get my Bose to listen. It is the most frustrating thing ever to have to press the button 15- 20 times every time I want to turn the volume up or down.

Did you learn the code from the Bose remote, or did you get it from the URC database?

I learned it from the Bose. The codes that were provided did not work. Therefore learning was the way I did it.

You might check the pronto hex codes to see it they have a volume listed and if so give that a try to see if it will ramp up and down.
