Do 64-bit drivers for the MSC-400 exist? There is a 64-bit folder in the drivers section of the program install, however it only contains Remote control sync drivers, not the "MSC400&MSC500" sync driver.
Is this a known limitation, or maybe I'm missing something?
Thanks!
miller... the drivers dont exist for you to download to the MSC-400 directly in a 64 bit software environment... but thats not the end all be all.
if you dual boot like i do, 32 bit and 64 bit on the same computer then you can program and upload your file in 32 bit and when you switch over to 64 bit which is what most are running now, your MSC400 stuff will still work.
For example... I like to program my msc400 to control my KMPlayer, XMBC, MPCHM... and other programs too... open windows, close windows and such...
SO what I do is boot up W7 32, program all the workings into the MSC400 with the shortcuts in my windows hotkeys program... then i load the the file to the remote.
I reboot my PC into the windows 64 environment, plug the rear usb port of the MSC400 into my computer, and all the hotkeys can be executed from my remote.
THe only limitation ive come accros is that you just cant up load to the msc400 in 64, but you can still use it for everything its worth, like the pc functions. They do work in 64bit systems, just cant upload in 64 bit systems.
