Anyone know if you can control the Venstar Wireless Thermostat (T1100REC) using the URC remotes. The receiver/transmitter uses 418MHz?

The quick dirty answer is probably no. You cannot control RF devices directly with an RF universal remote. I would be interested in finding out if there is some intermediate device you can use get everything to go together.

I guess one could use the IR version together with an MSC-400. Just a bunch more wiring required. Then again, I suppose an RS-232 solution would be better
