Hi there,

Need a new URC MX remote to control my main system in my living room. I have a couple of MX-450's for my remote rooms today.

Can't really work out the difference between the 810 and the 880 ?

I have a fairly basic system, with DVD/processor, TV, Tivo, Sky box, so don't need anything too much.

Thanks for any advice,

Roy.

The MX-880 is basically a color screen version of the MX-900. The MX-810, while physically similar to the MX-880, uses a wizard-based setup a la Harmony. If you've programmed any PC-programmable URC remote before, you'll likely prefer the familiarity and flexibility of the MX-880 software.
