I'm just about ready to pull the trigger and grab a MX-880 and MRF-350
Luckily I have a friend who's a dealer installer who can get me it at dealers cost and said he can hook me up with a log in to get updates.

My question

Is all the software for the 880 & 350 accessible as downloads from URC or are some of larger programs only available on CD or DVD that I should asking my friend to get a copy of ?

I read somewhere there's some expansion pack that gives you the icons and I also read somewhere else about some software suite that someone got from there dealer .

What can I download and what can't I ?
Just want to make sure I get everything possibly available.

Also I can save $55 and get the mx-810 & MRF-350 But I'm feeling the 880 is worth the extra any one disagree ?

Your question (singular) deserves an answer (singular)...
"What can I download and what can't I ?"
You cannot download anything, only your dealer installer friend can access the download, then if he offers to give you the software, that's his deal.

Not only is the 880 worth the extra $55, but easily worth twice that.

I'm just trying to find out whats available off the download site for my dealer and whats not ?

For instance is the Complete Control Suite down loadable or does it only come on a CD DVD ?

There is no software for the MRF-350. The software for the MX-880 is available from URC's dealer website, which your dealer is not authorized to give you access to. He can download the software from there and give it to you however. Once you have the software, updates are available directly through the software via the internet using the "Live Update" feature.

I read somewhere there's some expansion pack that gives
you the icons and I also read somewhere else about some

There is an expansion pack that again is available on the dealer website.

The software and expansion pack is all there is and all you need. Ask your dealer for both.
