Hi folks, I am new here, from northern CA and fairly new to URC>
I have a directv dvr HR21-100 that responds perfectly to it's own remote but not at all to my MX-900. None of the directv bucket codes make it work, and I've tried other unit's codes as well including hr20. This was all tested with IR only. All the other components in my system respond perfectly, Samsung tv, Blu-ray player, Denon receiver...
Any ideas why this might happen?

is the receiver set for RF? check the setup menu in the receiver.

I guess that will teach to look at the obvious :(
You were right it was in RF mode.
