I have an MX-980 and MRF-250 RF station. I am trying to get the IR flashers to flash individually when trying to use each component. Right now, all the flashers flash with every command sent to the station. I have obviously gone into the RF Control interface in the software and set the IR Output fields to the appropriate Lines. But even after doing that, all flashers flash with each command. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

If you are on ID 0 they all flash. Change to any ID number besides zero.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

It was on ID 1. Should I try a higher number?

On 980 editor, click program, rf control and then make sure your devices aren't set for "ALL" on IR Output.

Did you change the ID on the bottom of the base station as well as in your program?

That was it... bottom of the base station. Works great now. Thanks for your help guys. I'm always impressed when people get on the internet to help others for no personal gain. Keep it up.

Wouldn't hurt to move off the MRF250 if you are using a MX980, but if it works....

according to urc all the new remotes don't work with the old mrf's but they actually do atleast with the handful of them that I have tried

mrf250 can be a real pain but if it work, an mrf260 or 350 would be better

Actually, I think it's the other way around:

The older wide-band remotes work with the old wide-band base stations but can be hit-or-miss with the new narrow-band base stations.

The new narrow-band remotes work with the new narrow-band base stations and the old wide-band base stations.

See this thread for more details.

It seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the input.
