tweeterguy posted a response in the MX-980 Watch and Listen Button post:

"The new remotes that are shipping now have interchangeable watch/listen caps...intended for one time use (read: not easily removed once in place)."

I've now gotten well into understanding how I want to implement my MX-980 and well... sure enough, I want to change the Watch and Listen Buttons. Unfortunately I've already installed "Watch and Listen" labeled plastic into the slots on the remote.

tweeterguy has me concerned that I may break the remote if I try to remove the buttons. Has anyone done this? Can you offer advice before I attempt this?

Thanks

Keith

Emphasis is on the words "not easily removed". Is it possible? Of course. Do so at your own risk and with the assumption that if you break them you may be out of luck as far as free replacement goes. Contact your dealer.
