MX900 and DCM290..... I cant get the discrete disc commands to work from the DCM280 codes in the database and we cant locate the customers original remote.

does anyone know if there is a combo of buttons that directs to certain disc........ ie "?" + "4"

I ran into this problem a few weeks back.
The answer is to add a select command to the macro ahead of the disc number.
I don't think the command is in the preprogrammed code data, so you'll have to learn the command from the cd remote.

The native remotes for these don't actually have discreet disc codes, and the codes in the DB didn't work with the 280/380 either.

The command that should preceed the numeric disc number is alluding me.

Whatever the case..... ESR (CI's in Cali would know) was nice enough to send me a demo remote to leanr the codes from (on loaner) Now that's customer service!

What is the remote that actually has the commands on it? We need to get it into the database. If anyone has a complete file for these machines, could you email it to:

I used the DCM 260 code. It worked perfectly fine.

The original equipment remote has a button labeled disk select.
Just make a macro (disc select,# button1-5) it works great.
I'll have to sit down with the remote and learn all the commands. Do you need it in hex or will a MX file be ok? The remote for the new models looks different but I don't know if the codes are the same.

i dont see a dcm 260 in the database. i tried the dcm280 to no avail.

i am heading on site tomorrow with the new remote to learn the codes.

there is a "direc" button in the codeset that may be required to preempt the disc number.

if not the OEM remote has a button called "disc" that i will learn into the remote and them create the macri for each device.
