Hi
My MX 950 Spontaneously reboots when in my hand. Usually a minor tap or movement of the remote causes the unit to reboot. All the buttons seem to work fine. I switched the battery but it made no difference. I also reset the unit to defaults but still reboots. Connection to PC is fine. Any Advice or suggestions. Unit is out of warranty and 2 years old. What are my choices? Battery does not seem to be loose in the battery compartment.
Thanks

It could still be the battery. I have one battery that runs the 950 for as long as the other new battery I have but every now and then the remote will freeze with just that one battery and never does it with any other battery. I have cleaned and adjusted contacts so I know that is not it.

I'm sorry How can it still be the battery if I place a new battery in the Remote and it still has problems. I have also taken the old battery and put it in an another MX 950 and the problem cannot be repeated.

It is most likely a loose solder joint or cracked circuit board. Send it in for service.
