It seems pretty cool, I wish they would have kept the programing template the same as the MX3000, it just took a little while to get use to it. It sucks that I have to remake and re size all of my background pictures.

We didn't keep things the same because we've learned a lot and improved our skills a lot since the MX-3000, which was our first color remote. There were a lot of wYe that programming could be improved, so we implemented a lot of those. Similarly, there were some UI factors that work nicely with the button set of the MX-3000, but need to work differently to make the most of the button set of the MX-6000.

Going forward, you'll see many of these improvements in future products, but you'll also see new changes that take advantage of whatever button arrangements or hardware features are unique to those products. However, we'll also work to carry more UI consistency through future products than we have in the past.

Best regards,
Dale

I'm new to URCs products but I've gotten really efficient programing the MX-980. After playing around with the editor for the MX-6000 I found it hard to make a quick switch to that software. All of the other editors seem to flow better. We haven't taken any orders on it yet so I've haven't had a chance to test it out but I'm looking forward to it.
