Sorry for the Noobie question. How can I get my MX-950 to learn the sony xbr6 remote. I am unable to update the editor. And this sony tv is not listed in my software editor. Is there a way to teach the sony remote to the MX-950.

Sony is well known for using the same codes accross multiple models. Try a different model in the database which has the inputs you need. Should work fine.
Or you could use the learning section in the Editor at the top right (if memory serves me correctly).
