Hello,

I've been using the mx-3000 with ir543 for almost a year now with no problems. Just recently, I have not been able to control my lights (module 2) or stairs (module 5) with my mx-3000 via IR543. However, I can still control all modules with my X-10 palm remote so I know the x10 is still working. When I press the correct buttons on the IR-543 itself, I still cannot get a response from my lights nor stairs, but the other modules respond accordingly. Has anyone else had this problem? My guess is I need to replace my IR-543, but I suppose I just need some validation or advice from others who may have encountered this. Thank you -

I don't have an answer for you and even though you have an mx-3000 you will probably get better help in the x10 forum since you say you can't control those 2 modules via the ir543 by itself. Here's a link:

Yes, that makes sense to go over to the X-10 forum, I don't know why I didn't think of that......thank you, and sorry for posting in the wrong place -
