I've an MX-850. Does anyone know where I can find discrete power codes for the Toshiba 40RV525U television? I've tried every code set in the IR database (480 works best, but its discrete power buttons don't work, either).

I tried downloading the only two Pronto Hex Codes here, but they don't work either.

Well ... maybe I don't know how to do it, but I can't get these codes to work. I went to the website and tried some of the others, too, but no luck.

I wonder if I'm doing this right. I open up the Universal Browser in the MX-850 Editor software, then I click on the Hex button to open up the Hex Editor window. I paste the string of digits into that window, then drag the drag icon over to a button on the remote control. I save, and then download to the remote. When I push the button on the remote, a signal is sent, but nothing's received.

I wonder if there's something I'm doing wrong?!

I just tested the above procedure by downloading a code for a different device, and it worked.

So... there is one pair of discrete on and off codes posted here in this site's files section, and there is one pair on the Toshiba site, and neither of them work with my TV.

Anybody have any suggestions?
