I have a 9242 high definition receiver. I believe this is similar to dish vip 622.

What does everyone use for controlling there bell equipment? IN devices all there was, was simply a bell express #1 I tried to use the dish model which should be similar. As well as some echostarr.

Regardless it seems the last 2 months I noticed that it had trouble getting commands from the mx-810. I even tried to teach my entire IR remote every command. It just seems that either the mx-810 has a problem with it.

Or the IR on the remote or the receiver is not working, or firmware changed something?

Any suggestions. The remote seems really week when using the bell receiver, I have to be so close, and press things over and over.

My other equipment seems ok yet responding.

Im not at home to test this for a couple of weeks, but is there any possibility the X10 powermid system I added by the receiver could be messing with the IR signal? I believe the signal started to become incosistant when I added it to my setup by my receiver?

Is this possible?
