sorry if this has been asked before.....i have a mx980 and out of all my devices(directv,receiver,wii,ps3,tv,ipod dock) the 360 is the only one whos doesnt turn on and off consistantly...i got the codes from the database and have variables to track its state but it only works about 75% of the time...sometimes wont turn on..sometimes wont turn off.....my macro is good and it happens using ir and with a mrf350.....question is there a way to send the power command for a certain duration and if so how to do it...ive also tried the sensitivity on the base station and that didnt help.....but once the 360 is on my remote will control all the functions flawlessly..

thanks in advance

We've done many URC configurations with xbox360 and the codes in the IR DB w/o issue. First there is no way to sustain the command. Try sending P-ON, delay 0.5, P-ON.

I also had problems controlling one with an MSC-400,these codes fixed it and worked 100% of the time.

i actually have the same issue however i would say it wrks at least %90 of the time. my work around, and i now much prefer it, is to make a separate power toggle command on your WATCH page. i not only have a designated page under WATCH with ALL my device power toggles, but just to avoid pressing needless buttons i've also assignd the 360 power toggle aswell as my dvd power toggle to the channel up/down buttons on the main WATCH page. this way i can power the unit up before even firing the macro to change inputs, which saves me watching the 360 boot up screen. i power it on, then wait 5 seconds before firing the command.

as mentioned i also do this with my dvd player as it also takes a few seconds to boot up.

not the fix you were looking for but a good work around IMO. all the best!
