Playing with one of these...
Instead of the last command in the macro taking me to the CABLE page, why can it not go to the FAV page? Any workarounds?

I'm having some jump problems with this remote, too, that I can't figure out. On MX-650 or MX-350 a macro will end on the last page you bring up on programming but the MX-450 doesn't seem to end up on the page where you press "DONE" while programming a macro. I think this is a pretty serious programming glitch that should be fixed. At times it almost seems random what page the macro ends on.

I haven't had any issues with them not ending up on the correct page. Not sure if the FAV page is an option or not though as I have not tried it.
The one thing I've been doing (maybe you haven't) is I always go back to the MAIN page and select my source page even if I was already on that page getting commands.

I have never been able to get an MX-350 to end on anything other than the FAV page at the end of favorite channel programming. I have no problem ending a macro where the macro programming ends, and the favorite channel programming seems to record the page jump "steps," but it always end on the FAV page. I have assumed this is a "feature" of the MX-350 that severely limits the usefullness of the FAV functionality of the remote. One substitute is to program macros on available pages for the CABLE, but it isn't nearly as nice as the potential of the FAVs. I've never understood this.
Has anyone else been able to end a favorite channel on a page other than FAV on an MX-350?
Is this "feature" also present on the mx-450?

Let me see if I follow. You are doing a main page macro that includes a favorite channel default, and that leaves you on the FAV page?
In my limited experience with 350's (under a dozen) I've never tried favorites. With my demo 450 I tried to land there as a page jump after the macro has run and could not. Maybe I'll try including a favorite channel. As I recall though, during macro programming, the FAV button, when pressed, did nothing.

I simply would like the remote to end up on the "DVR" device after changing channels on the DVR using FAV programmed buttons. Basically, all the 8 pages of FAV buttons can be programmed just like a macro, except that the FAV version will always end on the FAV page, while a macro allows one to select the desired page to end on. So with FAVs, one must push "MAIN" button to get back to the DVR device to find the DVR device buttons ("A" "B" "C" "LIST" and "REC") for example, located on page one of the "DVR" device, or worse, push "MAIN" and "DVR" if the remote was on a device other than "DVR" before pushing the FAV button.
Just wish FAV buttons were actually macros.
