This ain't really a big deal because my system is working fine, but I wanted to know because I'm curious :)

I have an MRF-350 controlling 5 devices in a cabinet, and I control it with my MX-810. In the RF settings inside ProWizard, I've chosen to use individual flashers for each device instead of "All".

However, all my flashers flash, all of the time. I would have expected just my TiVo flasher to flash when controlling the TiVo, not all 5 of the flashers.

I guess it's possible that the red "activity" LED inside each flasher works separately to the actual IR emitter, but if so that's a confusing design.

If that's not the case (and each flasher will flash every device's command regardless) then what's the point of having individual flasher addressability?

Thanks for indulging my curiosity!

Your RF ID is set to ZERO, you need to change that to an address other than ZERO on the bottom of the 350 basestation and in programming. It will become a big deal when you start to get interference from other devices or your neighbor buys a MX remote with RF.

Doh! I was so sure that I had changed that, but hadn't.

I just set it to #1 which I had configured in ProWizard all along, and now the flashers are independent. Thanks so much!
